Over the years I have been welcomed at several places where Icelandic horses live in herds. Some of these landscapes I return to regularly. You can read about those adventures in the Field Notes. Others are places I hope to document in the future.

This long term photography project is made possible by people who care deeply about Icelandic horses and the landscapes they inhabit. Some invite me to photograph their herds and offer a place to stay while I spend time observing and documenting herd life. Others support the project by sharing connections or making donations that help cover the costs of travel, food or a place to stay, allowing me to continue documenting Icelandic horses in beautiful landscapes around the world.
