Om te blijven leren, groeien en een leuk doel te hebben om naartoe te werken, doe ik elk jaar mee aan de International Pet Photographers Awards (IPPA). Mijn streven is om mijn accreditatie te behalen.
Dit jaar zijn er 4011 foto’s ingezonden, afkomstig uit 45 landen van alle continenten.
De foto’s worden beoordeeld door internationale experts, gespecialiseerde dierenfotografen. Elke inzending wordt anoniem gepresenteerd en door vijf juryleden beoordeeld.
Vorige week kreeg ik mijn resultaten terug van de International Pet Photographers Awards en ik ben heel blij met het resultaat van dit jaar! Ik behaalde mijn Associate level, één foto kreeg Silver, vijf foto’s kregen Bronze with Distinction en vier Bronze.
Bij mijn inzendingen ontving ik waardevolle en duidelijke feedback. Daarmee kan ik aan de slag om een nieuwe reeks foto’s te creëren voor volgend jaar, zodat ik weer een stapje dichter bij mijn volgende level voor accreditatie kom.
Aan alle mensen die mij hebben geholpen en van wie ik de dieren mocht fotograferen: heel erg bedankt voor jullie tijd, geduld en enthousiasme! 💛

To keep learning, growing, and having a fun goal to work towards, I participate every year in the International Pet Photographers Awards (IPPA). I am working on my accreditation.
This year, a total of 4,011 images were submitted from 45 countries across every continent.
The photos are judged by international experts and specialized pet photographers. Each entry is presented anonymously and reviewed by five judges.
Last week, I received my results from the International Pet Photographers Awards, and I’m very happy with this year’s outcome! I achieved my Associate level: one photo was awarded Silver, five photos received Bronze with Distinction, and four received Bronze.
Along with my submissions, I also received valuable and constructive feedback. This gives me the opportunity to work on a new series of photos for next year and take another step closer to the next level of my accreditation.
To everyone who supported me and to all the wonderful animals I had the chance to photograph: thank you so much for your time, patience, and enthusiasm! 💛
